We worked with our friends at Wieden and Kennedy Amsterdam on Nike’s first ever commercial for the Russian market.
There were two tasks: to negotiate clearance for their preferred film clip of a playful walrus for a decent price and simultaneously to find a more economical piece of footage that could replace it.
We set about clearing the original shot, eventually negotiating an 80,000 Euro reduction in the price for that clip.
At the same time, we located a specialist walrus videographer (yep, they exist) about to set off from a small island in the North Atlantic for another expedition. The film he sent us was even better than the original selection and the fee we negotiated for him funded another expedition to film these magnificent mammals.
