100 Years

To celebrate their centenary, Tesco worked with BBH to create an ad full of instantly recognisable cultural icons. We were lucky enough to take this trip down memory lane with BBH and worked with them to source and clear content to appear in this fun commercial.

This was not without challenges of course! Sourcing the hi-res footage for Mr Motivator was a particularly tense process and we found an obscure vendor online who agreed to a fee and shipped us a VHS..! It had been a long time since we’d had a physical VHS tape in the office and for some of the younger members of the team, it was the first time they’d actually seen one in real life..!

MPC did a fantastic job of bringing the live action together with the sourced content and the result really is a bit of nostalgic fun!
