We love how creatives continually push the bar with their ideas and this project is a great example of how with good creative ideas it is possible to push user generated content to new heights. The brief, despite being a massive puzzle and a challenging one at that, was great fun and the resulting film is hilarious and very clever.
Once we had digested the brief and identified the elements and themes, we set to work tracking down a wide range of user generated Tik Tok content. A very important element to UGC projects is being flexible and being open to new ideas. Ultimately you never know what mad hilarious gems are out there, so working alongside the creative team at Dark Horses, we made sure our own researchers were able to share alternative/unsuspecting shots making sure no other genius moments were overlooked. Once the edit was shaping up, we quickly set to work collaboratively with the agency and client to contact the creators and licensing their hilarious videos.
