We were delighted to team up once again with Kim Gehrig and Somesuch, this time on an epic project for Burberry.
Our brief was to explore the 1990s through the lens of Burberry and its influence on culture. We dived into the most engaging and relevant Burberry moments from the era, tracing how icons helped shape the cultural landscape. From Goldie to Gallagher and beyond, we sourced content that captured the spirit of the time, along with textures, imagery, and quintessentially British references, from landmarks to festivals.
The process remained fluid throughout, allowing us to keep refining the selection. Clearance was extensive involving everything from labels to archives to individuals and specialists from the scene.
The final film is something special, a striking tribute to Burberry’s lasting place at the heart of British culture.
