We worked very closely with Water Aid to make this important film to raise awareness ahead of Cop27.
The brief was elegant and the content had to be nuanced. The ultimate aim was to show how the current environmental situation is intrinsically linked to the plight of women and girls. In order to do this, the film explores how women over the years have risen-up against patriarchal society and how women of the world come together to protest and protect their lives, their rights and their environment.
We searched high and low for all kinds of content from indi-documentary footage to archive cartoons to storm chasers. We left no stone unturned. Alongside finding the content, our clearance team worked meticulously to ensure all footage was able to be featured in the final film.
We are really proud with the results, a confident, tongue and cheek journey through the ages celebrating the rights of women around the world.
